| Showcase Cadbury Land at Cadbury World |
In 1999, RMA Ltd was commissioned by Cadbury World to design, build and produce an auditorium show that would feature all the CadburyLand Kids characters within an interactive show environment. The RMA team created an 80 seater Electronic Pantomime for kids from 6 – 60. A fully interactive auditorium and pre-show set within a purpose built themed enclosure. All the main characters are animatronic and interact with each other as well as the audience. The show lasts approximately 8 minutes and features many special effects during Dudley Sidebottom’s adventures. From Fudges’ wind and rain as he flies over-head (yes, you really do get rained on) to Chomp’s huge rock cave doors opening and Wildlife’s full surround-sound stampede. Giant moving clouds, rotating windmill sails, grass growing out of chocolate mountains and even Keith the donkey lifting his tail to relieve a tummy full of wind, all programmed to synchronise with the soundtrack and lighting sequences. It is a frenetic and mad show and the kids love it. |
